You can add it to your website hosting account from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which comes with all shared packages and you will get a rather simple-to-use graphical interface, which will give you full control over the content caching system. Using one-click quick-access controls, you can restart or disable any of the instances, i.e. Varnish will no longer be activated for a particular website. You can also view a comprehensive log or erase the cache associated with any of the Internet sites. When you add Varnish to your web hosting package, you’ll be able to select the total amount of system memory that will be available to you for content caching purposes and the number of the sites that will use Varnish. You can always order more memory in increments of 32 MB and, for maximum performance, you can assign a dedicated IP to the sites that will use Varnish. Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish is included in the standard set of services that you will receive if you choose to host your Internet sites in a semi-dedicated server account. The default amount of memory that the Varnish caching platform can use to cache data is 64 MB, but if you decide that you want more, you can upgrade this amount of memory from the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. Since these two things are not linked to each other, you can use a few Internet sites with the default memory or you can add more memory in increments of 32 megabytes and use all of it for one single website. The Varnish platform performs best if you allocate a dedicated IP to the websites that utilize its power. The Hepsia Control Panel will give you an easy way of restarting any instance. Furthermore, you’ll be able to delete the cached files with only one mouse click.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can use Varnish with all our VPS server plans at no extra fee, as the data caching platform is pre-installed and is offered by default. The only precondition is that the Virtual Private Server must come with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, through which you will be able to activate Varnish for any of your Internet sites with just a few clicks. Each Virtual Private Server package offers a different amount of memory for data caching purposes, but you will get no less than several hundred MB, which is sufficient even for several resource-absorbing Internet sites. Soon after you enable the Varnish platform, it’ll start caching the content that your visitors open, so you will notice the substantially better page load times and the decreased load on the VPS server in no time. The Varnish caching platform will allow you to use a less expensive VPS server, as you will not need that many resources to ensure the uninterrupted operation of your sites even if you own large-scale Internet sites with multiple visitors. Optimum results are accomplished if the Internet sites which use the Varnish platform use also a dedicated IP.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
All Linux dedicated servers that are ordered with the in-house built Hepsia web hosting Control Panel include Varnish, which is one of the pre-installed software platforms that you will get with the machine.
